The Cheap KD 7 may have beaten off some fierce competition to become the model with the craziest colourways this season, so it was only a matter of time before Kevin Durant’s latest pro model joined the ‘What The’ series alongside his prior models. Can you name all the sneakers this thing is cobbled from? Nike’s What The KD7 will be arriving at Nike Basketball accounts from today, June 20th.
The What The KD 7 For Sale embraces the colors of Durant’s team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. A product of state-of-the-art materials, modern construction methods and innovative technology, the sneaker features a metallic grey-blue upper that’s perforated throughout up to the heel, a grey midsole, and yellow eyestays. Orange accents are found on the outsole, large Swoosh logo and heel tab that has the number 35 stamped in yellow to signify Durant’s OKC number.
The famed Weatherman colorway reprises its role on the 2015 KD Shoes. Perhaps among the most significant events in the Nike KD signature line was the release of the KD IV “Weatherman”, which revealed an inside story that served as a source of inspiration for the line for several years following, not to mention the upcoming KD 7 Aunt Pearl. The Posite upper on the KD 7 is where the famous graphic is prominent, but the medial side reveals a different take with a camo-like overlay above a never-before-seen print.
