An especially touching favorite has been the annual commemorative sneaker, dedicated to the memory of Kevin Durant’s Aunt Pearl – a woman he has recognized as playing an influential role in his life before her passing. The Nike KD7 “Aunt Pearl” features a monochrome white silhouette, finished with pink and gold accents. A mesh toe box, sporting an emphatic gold Nike Swoosh reveals the pink Flywire underneath.

Introducing the 2015 KD Shoes Kevin Durant’s latest holiday-themed sneaker will arrive at retailers on March 19th, 2015. The shoe takes on a surprising camouflage on the heel given the heel. The fact that a KD 7 once again sports a print isn’t surprising, but it’s the jarring contrast of the militaristic aesthetic getting hit with a pastel candy coded array of Flash Lime and Pink that stands out. Throw in a Bright Mango similar to that of the 35K Degrees on the underlying Dynamic Flywire and outsole, and those hues only make the black branding and strap stand out more.
