Jordans 2017 will mark the release of numerous different Air Jordan 6 Retro colorways and the one seen here will also be among them. While this may not be apparent from the looks of it, but this one is actually being reported as a girls-exclusive iteration. Not surprising that it has been dubbed "Pantone," the sneaker is almost entirely dressed up in a Light Blue shade, while it is equipped with all-White midsoles and icy translucent outsoles. Sneakerheads who have a budding Nike sneaker collection are probably familiar with the Pantone color scheme. For those who do not know what Pantone means or what it really is, it refers to the standardized Pantone color matching/numbering system that is utilized to identify colors. When the colors are standardized, a Pantone numbered color can be referenced by various manufacturers without directly interacting with each other. This ensures that colors being used match and are standardized. In fact, there is an entire Pantone solids palette. The hue that can be seen covering this brand new Air Jordan 6 iteration featured is also from the "Pantone" solids palette.
This GS version of the New Air Jordan Shoes goes tonal as a Teal/Light Blue shade of leather covers the shoe's entire upper including the laces, lining, insoles, tongue and lace locks. Giving the shoe comes contrast is the White noted on areas such as the branding and sole unit. Opaque colored hits also make an appearance on the shoe. The fact of the matter is that there are a total of 1,114 colors that are included in the Pantone solids palette. Either a three or four digit number with a suffix of C, M, or U is assigned to each color so that they can be identified. The Pantone system was originally designed to be used by those in the graphics industry, but now a large variety of industries are using the solids palette, and it is the most commonly used Pantone colors palettes.
New Jordans 2016, But The Air Jordan 6 Retro will have a major role this Spring 2017 season as yet another new colorway emerges exclusively for girls. Dubbed the "Pantone" for its resemblance to the PE that Jordan created, this Air Jordan 6 Retro release makes use of a lighter shade of blue on the upper with a solid white midsole and opaque white hits. As you can see, Light blue runs across the uppers with tumbled leather. White is then used on the Jumpman branding and midsole. Completing the look is a partial translucent outsole with a Light Blue Jumpman. White detailing is also found on the lace lock, pull-tab, heel, and insole. Completing the look is an icy translucent outsole.
