The Nike KD 9 Dark Obsidian takes an ominous approach to Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker to match the Warriors' new "Super Villain" approach to things. The premium Flyknit construction adds ventilation and a malleable fit for extra flexibility while hooping, but this is definitely one of those KD 9 pairs that will fair well off-the-court too thanks to the tonal aesthetic. The Nike KD 9 Dark Obsidian also boasts some Dark Purple Dust on the lining and outsole while a vibrant touch of Hyper Turquoise streaks across the 3/4 length Zoom midsole for a nice change of pace. The kicks feature what is being called a deep burgundy Flyknit upper which resembles a bronze from the provided images, complete with metallic copper Nike branding, a solar red ankle collar lining, that matches the teeth seen through the translucent Zoom Air sole unit, as the sneaker is topped off with white KD branding on the heel of the kicks.
