During the 95-96′ NBA Season, the Chicago Bulls set the NBA record for wins, 2016 Jordans ending the season with an astounding 72-10 record, one that is still talked about today. To commemorate this moment, Jordan brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 “72-10″ later this year, fully remastered. Below is an on-feet preview of what to expect from Jordan brand, that show similarities to the “Space Jam” version of the silhouette, replacing the blue accents with a red, thick premium leather upper build as oppose to the traditional mesh, sitting atop at what is being reported as a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
Recently, Jordan For Girls images have surfaced of the new Air Jordan Retro 11 color-way inspired by the ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls 72-10 record season. Today, we have new up close images of the shoes and they sure look nice. The retail price is set at $220 and the shoes will hit shops this December, 12/19. The 72-10 Air Jordan 11 takes some of the Bred and Space Jam and mashes them together. While New Jordans 2016 patent leather, translucent midsole will all be intact, the uppers which use mesh will be replaced with leather. In the past some samples were made. Images are floating around the web but don’t expect those to ever hit eBay. Retired NFL player Warren Sapp even had a similar pair, with a few minor tweaks. Other details include iridescent across the patent leather, an embossed Jumpman instead of stitched and a tag that notes the best season ever in NBA history, 72-10.
