Brand Jordan continues to set the sneaker culture a blaze with these Air Jordan 5 Retro "Bel Air". The sneaker pays tribute to the 90′s sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". This colorway features a grey leather upper with a purple, ice blue and neon green sole bottom, this is a non-OG colorway. The inception, and subsequent release, of the Air Jordan 5 "Black Grape" had many sneaker aficionados wistfully wanting to add black suede to other classic Jordan models. What would it be like to have the Air Jordan 5 "Laney" get that same black suede treatment? Well so it seems we have that wish granted, albeit not by the same name, but more or so by the same premise. Originally named (by many sneakerheads) the Air Jordan 5 "Black Laney" , we now have pristine shots of the Air Jordan 5 "Shanghai Shen". The shoe gets its name by way of, and dually in homage to the Nike presence and development in Shanghai, China.

The sneakers rock an all black base with some yellow and royal blue accents, reminiscent of Jordan’s high school colors, of Laney High School. The Jumpman’s legendary symbol can be seen throughout the shoe, on the back and on the tongue in blue, while the lace lock and portions of the midsole boast a bright yellow. The shoe will release initially in Shanghai which is to be followed by a worldwide launch. Stay tuned for more information on this and other upcoming releases from New Jordans 2014.
