The Jordan Son of Mars Low has been a go to shoe for most of this summer, falling perfectly in line between a ready to play in basketball shoe with a sturdy silhouette and a great looking lifestyle that takes cues from all sorts of ancient models. The most recent release is a bit of an oddity though, with a colorway reminiscent of the Air Jordans III "Stealth". Why Jordan Brand decided to release the sneaker this month when ‘fire red’ and ‘green glow’ make ups are trending remains a mystery, but with an enticing cool grey and just enough red, it doesn’t disappoint. The Jordan Son of Mars Low “True Blue” will be hitting select retailers Saturday, July 27th. The silhouette has been a featured one throughout the entire summer for JB, getting a limited release for a commemorative Do the Right Thing pack to honor legendary film director Spike Lee. Taking the colorway from the famous Air Jordans 3 release, the Son of Mars keeps things relatively simple with an all white upper perfect for keeping things cool in the heat.
