Air Jordan 13 (XIII) Retro "Bred" 2013

The Sports ONE Source sneaker sales numbers for 2013 are out, revealing somewhat predictable results with a slight twist.

First, the predictable results. Air Jordan 13 “Bred” Shoes took the top spot as fans of this golden era J, and black and red Jordans in general, gobbled them up across the size range. Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” nestled in at number 2, boosted by high model popularity despite the very late 1/26 release date. Then there’s the diehard consistent standbys Timberland 10061 Boot, white Nike Air Force 1 Low, and Nike Air Monarch IV filling in the 6, 7, and 9 spots. They’re top ten sellers all day long. Nothing surprising so far.

The twist is that Nike LeBron 10 “Prism” and KD V nabbed the 3 and 4 best-selling spots over number 5 Air Jordan 1 “Bulls.” AJ 1 as you might recall dropped on January 5th, giving the shoe nearly a full month to clear out at retail if needed. Still couldn’t overcome those Prisms and KDs. Hmm.

You know it, you love it. The Sports ONE Source top selling shoes of February 2013. So what did we learn from this month’s numbers (aside from the fact that Nike and Jordan Brand have dominated for the 2,985th month in a row)?

Chiefly, that Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” continues to be red hot at retail, with the “Bright Crimson”, “Joker”, and “88″ editions claiming the 1, 8, and 9 spots. Actually pretty much anything Jordan is a money printer. Six of the 10 shoes have a Jumpman on them.
