Miss the New Jordan 5 "Grape" in 2006? You have another chance this year. Today, Jordan Brand, we get official images of the upcoming retro. Smooth white leather is the base, with purple popping up on the midsole and tongue. Emerald Green graces the branding, marks the midfoot, and black mesh highlights the lining and heel. These are set on 4 May 2013 release in select Jordan Brand accounts.

Miss out on the Air Jordan 5 "Grape" back in 2006? You’ll have another shot this year. Today from Jordan Brand, we get official images of the upcoming retro. These are set to release on May 4th, 2013 at select Jordan Brand accounts.
It takes some amount of courage to sacrifice a pair of Women Pink Jordans for the sake of a custom colorway. It takes another level entirety to be able to let yours get ripped into shreds for the sake of a gas mask. That’s not to say you’re not gonna get quality work, as Freehand Profit definitely knows what he’s doing, but we’d imagine it’s still tough to see a favorite pair go in the name of art. This latest work appropriates the Air Jordan V "Grape", doing particularly well with the purple tongue of those shoes. It took a while for another Air Jordans 5 for sale to hit since the White/Black-Fire Red joints released in January(so much for 2013 for being all about the Air Jordan V), but the wait was well worth it as Jordan Brand prepares to release the Air Jordan V "Grape" – the first time since the first Retro back in 2006. Later in June, Jordan Brand will pair these up with the "Black Grape", so if you have thoughts of copping the set, you had better not miss out on this release!

The Air Jordan Shoes numbered series has come a long way since it originally released as a Nike Basketball shoes. On the way to the top, it transcended the shoes industry as well as the game itself. Preceding the initial Air Jordan 1 (I), basketball shoes were typically white, and Michael, as well as his shoes, were frowned upon for rocking colorways that did not go along with NBA rules.
